Cleaning Checklist

Take post-cleaning pictures

Sweep and mop floor (important to get next to and behind the toilets)
-
Clean shower, sink, vanity, mirror (make sure to get the crevices of the shower/bathtub)

Clean toilet with bowl cleaner (let owner know when it runs out)
-
Put out 4 white bath towels, 2 hand towels in each bathroom
-
Stock 2 shampoo, 2 conditioner, 2 body wash, 2 body lotion
-
Place 1 hand soap bar per sink (will be 2 in master bathroom since there's 2 sinks)
-
Refill liquid hand soap (if it is any that's not refillable and it is less than half the bottle, throw it out)
-
Ensure toilet paper roll is stocked
-
Insert trash bag in can, clean top of lid
-
Spray curtain liner, check for mold
-
Clean crevices at shower curtain foot
-
Check and clean inside cabinets (throw out anything that someone left, if it looks important hold on to it and let owner and property manager know)
-
Vacuum floor
-
Clean dresser top and mirror
-
Clean nightstands
-
Open all drawers and clean inside if needed (make sure they're empty)
-
Make beds (4 pillows per bed, 2 for each bed on the bunk beds)

Dust ceiling fans, blinds
-
Clean window sills
-
Remove fingerprints from glass/sliding doors
-
Ensure cushions are in place and clean
-
Sweep the floor
-
Wipe the table and chairs and make sure there's nothing gross on it
-
Wipe the outside of the sink (let owner know if the siding looks very dirty)
-
Make sure that the trundle beds (under the bunk beds) have mattress covers and flat sheets on top
-
Sweep stairs, remove sand
-
Blow leaves/debris from driveway
-
Wipe front door clean
-
Sweep and mop hallway floor
-
Wipe baseboard if dirty
-
Wipe the entry way table and mirror
-
Vacuum stairs, remove any trash from them
-
Use carpet spot cleaner (in owner's closet) if needed
-
Wipe the railings
-
Clean sink, countertops
-
Wipe cabinet fronts
-
Empty trash drawer and insert bag (make sure there's no trash or recycling, if so please take it out to the bins)
-
Insert bag in kitchen trash can
-
Limit dish soap to 1 bottle (remove extras)
-
Set out 1 roll of paper towel
-
Empty and clean refrigerator/freezer
-
Wipe toaster and oven interior
-
Unload clean dishwasher and put dishes away
-
Check dishes and cups in cupboards, if it seems to be missing many let owner know to order more
-
Remove unneeded/leftover cupboard items (if lots left behind, let property manager and owner know)
-
Clean top of trash can lid
-
Ensure dishwasher pods under sink
-
Remove old sponges, set out 1 new one
-
Set out 1 travel-size dish soap on sink
-
Check microwave cover and clean inside/outside
-
Place 2 packs of coffee by coffee machine
-
Place cup of apple cider vinegar (fruit fly trap)
-
Clean coffee machine
-
Make sure there's a few pods in the "Laundry Detergent" container. Don't leave full bag out
-
Vacuum and mop floors
-
Make sure art work is all straight
-
Make sure remote is in the holder next to the TV
-
Make sure mirror is wiped
-
Make sure cushions on all couches and seats are properly pushed in and lined
-
Make sure ottoman stools are on either sides of the TV
-
Wipe down the TV console and dining room table/chairs
